Welcome to my website, The Daily Exhorter! To exhort means to encourage, to motivate or to inspire. While the foundational principles of this business is Christian in nature, it is a business nonetheless. Our business beliefs are based on ethical, practical beliefs that help empower entrepreneurs to become successful. The Daily Exhorter initially began as a newsletter back in December 1997. It was started as a double-sided folded paper that was sent out to over 700 recipients in the U.S. and abroad. The term “Exhorter” is noted as something that you do to encourage and strengthen people and their beliefs.

I “believe” that aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners need to be encouraged. Our business exists to show individuals how to become self-empowered entrepreneurs. Starting with this idea requires a need for good, solid information to get started. The Daily Exhorter will show you how to start, manage, and be completely successful in starting your own home-based business and managing the freelance lifestyle on your flexible schedule.

I got the entrepreneurial bug back in December 1997 when our oldest child was only six months old. I knew that I didn’t want to go back into corporate America. But I also knew that I had to find a way to bring in an income and be able to contribute to my household just as equally. One morning in prayer, I asked God to bless me to live my dream of being self-employed and to give me the insight to help others in the knowledge He had given me. Thus, The Daily Exhorter was born.

This business is not a religious site full of scriptures or sermons. There are plenty of other well-written, comprehensible sites for that. What we exist to do is to empower an individual with knowledge and information in pursuing their dreams from a practical Christian-based standpoint. In other words, we will show you how you can achieve your God-purposed dream of being an entrepreneur by applying basic Christian principles, using your God-given talents and utilizing the resources and skills that you have in abundance all around you. We don’t preach to you or try and persuade you. We’re not trying to sell you the next get-rich-quick scheme. We don’t have an upline, network marketing group or a list for you to call. What we have are tools, information and the motivation to get you started on the pathway towards financial success and enjoying a lifestyle that you’ve dreamed of.
